About Olympic Air
Olympic Air, initially known as Olympic Airlines is a regional airline based in Spata, which was founded in April 1957 and started operating from September 2009. It is a subsidiary of the Aegean Airlines and operates services to 18 destinations from its hub at the Athens International Airport. It is wholly owned by the Greek airline, Aegean Airlines and has codeshare agreements with Delta Airlines, Etihad, Tarom and KLM. The airline has won many awards since its establishment, including the Silver Effie Award for Corporate Communication in 2010, ERA Silver Award: Airline of the Year in 2010 and Condé Nast Traveller 2011 Readers Choice Awards for Top Domestic Airline in 2011.
